WANTED: More uses for Hollywood Fashion Tape!

The staff at Shop At Clares has been selling and, of course, using Hollywood Fashion Tape for many, many years. We asked them to tell us how they use this tape and discovered some typical and some not-so-typical uses for the fashion tape. This clear tape is hypoallergenic, safe for skin and clothing, and unlike those rolls of double sided tape, is easy to carry in your purse, briefcase, or suitcase, and stays clean until ready for use.
We welcome suggestions for YOUR use of Hollywood Fashion Tape.

  • Hold slipping bra straps in place.
  • Close a gaping button down blouse.
  • Keep fold up sleeves from unfolding.
  • Keep a slippery fashion scarf in place.
  • Keep a necklace in place.
  • Quick fix for a hem that has come undone.
  • To temporarily shorten the hem of a skirt or pants.
  • Temporarily fuse a spit seam.
  • Keeping socks from falling down (not recommended for hairy legs).
  • Keep low cut blouses close to body to prevent inappropriate cleavage displays when bending over.
  • Prevent wrap style tops from unwrapping.
  • Keep lapels laying flat on shirts, blouses, suits, and lightweight coats.
  • Keep tops from sliding off your shoulders and exposing your bra straps.
  • Keep tube tops from sliding down.
  • Use it to tape down the extra length of belt to keep it from flapping around.
  • Closing the bottom of a wrap dress so it does not unwrap in the wind or when you sit.
  • Tack down the ends of a collar to keep them in place and from curling up.
  • Mounting photos in a photo album or on a display.
  • Mounting photos in a frame or on a matte before framing.
  • Keeping a tablecloth from sliding around or off dining room table.
  • Great for scrapbooking or making your own greeting cards.
  • Perfect for collages, everything lies flat, no bumps from dried glue.
