Boy, did I ever stick my foot, or at least our pink
woolie wompers, in my mouth with our customer Michael. He emailed us about getting a pair of these and said his wife wanted know if they could be worn outside, like to a shopping mall. She also wanted them to be big and fluffy with longer pink fur and have pom-poms added.
Woolie wompers are a traditional style Indian moccasin slipper that are made of genuine sheepskin. What a fun name, Woolie Whompers! They are made from only one bottom piece that is gathered and stitched to shape to your foot and one top piece. They adjust to your foot with a rawhide draw string. Well our wompers are custom so we wanted to oblige. A few emails later, I inquired about what size his wife's foot was. His response was a bit off the mark. "No maam, these are for me. My wife insists I wear them and I am a men's size 8".
Go figure. You know the old saying about ass-u-me?
